ST. GEORGE’S CAYE RESORT DEPOSIT/PAYMENT/REFUND POLICIES

Our Policies

  • The following policies have evolved over the years in consultation with past guests. The ultimate goal is to be fair to you, while also being fair to the families supported by our resort.
  • Because we cannot protect you from unforeseen circumstances, we highly recommend you consider buying trip/travel/vacation insurance. Trip insurance may cover you during weather-related incidents, for flight delays & cancellations, and for unexpected injuries or health issues encountered before or during your vacation.

For Individuals

  • Your reservation can be confirmed with receipt of a deposit equal to 30% of your total package cost. Thereafter the deposit is non-refundable. The balance of your package cost is due 90 days prior to your scheduled arrival.
  • Should the resort not be able to provide any of the diving or excursion services included in your prepaid package during your scheduled stay due to inclement weather, you will receive full credit for such services.

Our cancellation policy was developed to be considerate to our Guests and our resort team:

  • Cancelations within 24 hours of reservation – full refund
  • Cancelations more than 45 days prior to scheduled arrival – refund is 50% of your deposits paid.
  • Cancelations between 15 and 45 days prior to scheduled arrival - refund is 33% of your deposits paid.
  • Cancelations within 14 days of your scheduled arrival – refunds are not available.
  • Refunds not available for early departures.
  • Cancellations must be in writing (email).
  • Travel insurance is recommended.

For Groups

  • Your Group Reservation will specify both minimums and maximums for number of lodging units and number of guests. Your group reservation can be confirmed with receipt of a non-refundable deposit equal to 30% of your minimum total group package cost.
  • Four months (120 days) prior to your scheduled arrival, an additional payment equal to 40% of your of your total group package cost is due. If you need to cancel your reservation, 30% of your total deposits received will be refunded if your cancellation request is received by the resort in writing (email) more than 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival.
  • The balance of your total group package cost is due two months (60 days) prior to your scheduled arrival. If you need to cancel your reservation after full payment has been received by the resort, 25% of your total payment will be refunded if your cancellation request is received by the resort in writing (email) 30 days or more prior to your scheduled arrival.
  • Additional group participants may be added at any time subject to availability and approval at the discretion of the resort. Refunds are not available within 30 days of your scheduled arrival. Refunds are not available for early departures.
